Hello everyone! I’m back again with another blog post for the month of April 2025 and the time right now is 3:33 pm.
To be honest life after 2019 seems to be moving too fast for my mind to comprehend.
Everything is moving too fast and too quickly.2020 was almost 5 years away!
So many things have happened after 2020 not to mention the rise in economy.Everything seems too pricey and extravagant these days.A five hundred rupee note has become equivalent to a hundred rupee note.Where social media influencers and Tik Tokers are making good amount through their niche and regular people who are posting and sharing their contents are well you know at the same place where they used to be.( including me 😅)
Also, we are growing and learning at the same time.
Just yesterday evening I was reading the second instalment from the world wide best seller book from the author Rhonda Byrne’s “The Greatest secret”and I was deeply inspired by some of the Paragraphs from there and I would love to write about them.
Summary of my favourite lines from the book from Chapter 5:
- Your mind is not your brain: Of course, our minds don’t control us, we control our minds. It’s just a part of our body and we command it to use in however way we want. Therefore, it’s essential for us to think about good thoughts no matter if the situation is not in our favour. It has been mentioned in the book that thoughts are responsible for causing our feelings, and any type of negative thoughts contribute to us feeling low and not enough.
- Time is an illusion: Another paragraph which stuck to me is the fact that time is just an illusion and I have been saying that there’s no yesterday or tomorrow. There’s just today and the present. There’s no such thing as time , it was created by men to do certain chores throughout the day and rest at night. So, if we want our tomorrow to be fruitful, we should work on our present rather that visiting the glimpses of past.
- Observe your thought: We get emotional when our mind starts wandering and thinking about what if’s and could haves. We are hopeful thinking about the future and what it holds for us that is why we should learn to observe our thoughts and those thoughts which make you feel sad and despair should be replace with thoughts of gratitude and happiness. That is why as already mentioned in the book instead of getting lost in your thoughts we should start seeing them for what they are and take every thought into account and relieve and accept them for what they are rather than resisting them.
Therefore, inorder for us to live a meaningful life, we must learn to stop overthinking, what would X and Y think about me if I don’t do certain things on certain time, what would happen to me if I don’t achieve something in certain timeline. What would the society tell me if I do this and not that, all these things don’t matter in the journey of life.
When you’re somewhat 60 or 70 nobody cares about how you looked, how sad or broke you were, all that matters is how well you lived your life, how many great memories you created your way, what a hearty laugh you had when something funny happened,Hence, at the end overthinking kills your joy of staying in the present. Live your life to the fullest and stop worrying about tomorrow and enjoy your present.
You’re never going to be this young or healthy again, You’re never getting back your present moment again make awareness your go to habit and learn to bring yourself back to happiness and present when you find yourself drowning in your misery of negative thoughts.

“You don’t have to eliminate your mind or go to war with your mind. Awareness is your way out of the turmoil of the mind”.
