Shed the old skin this October!

Hey everyone! Happy holidays!!

It’s festive season here in India and there’s joy and laughter all around. I can’t believe we’ve made it to October so soon. This is my favourite season of the year. It’s officially fall/autumn season here.

I love the warm sun rays and the shedding trees preparing for new leaves for the spring next year.I love the hustle and bustle of people around buying new clothes and accessories for the festive season. It’s all so nice and makes me feel good about the month.

I just turned 30 this September and I’m no longer in my 20s.🥹Earlier, I used to think that turning 30 would be dreadful and I would marry someone and start my own family by the time I reached 30, but, here I am still figuring about my life in my 30, still enjoying my single hood and embracing my independence.

I guess life has all things planned for us.All we need to do is be patient and wait for things to happen at the right time.

Since, it’s already the 10th month of the year 2025, it’s still not too late to do things that you wanted to do in the beginning of the year.

Here are the list of things that I’m looking forward to in the month of October:

  1. Embracing independence and learning to take care of my body and mind.
  2. Letting go of lifestyle and habits that drain me and my pocket.
  3. Saving at least 20% of my monthly income for long term plan and other 10% for my emergency fund.
  4. Investing on assets like Gold over liabilities like an expensive accessory.
  5. Going out only when I feel like it and not because somebody wants me there.
  6. Avoiding too much of scrolling on internet and instead read books that motivates me.
  7. Practising gratitude everyday and journaling whenever I feel like it.
  8. Deep cleaning my private and work spaces every once in a week and practice aura cleansing rituals.
  9. Not letting things affect me and learning to see positively in overwhelming situations.
  10. Last but not the least, I need to change my sleeping pattern, I’m looking forward to getting up early and going to bed early.

So, I’m basically looking towards the brighter side of life inculcating positive rituals and practices in my day to day life.

I really want to shed my old skin this October onwards and pave ways for a better life these coming months.

Wishing everyone a Happy Dussehra and Diwali in advance!

Me on my birthday 🎉

Propaganda I’m not falling for this July!!

Hey everyone! It’s July here! We’re now on the other half of the year 2025!

These past six months have been quite tumultuous for me! With my emotions all over the place and my money draining out like water.

I’ve always tried to be a positive person in every situation and like to look at the brighter side of life but you know not everyday you have the energy or the mood to be happy and full of life.

Sometimes I like to visit my past and question about certain choices I made in life back when I was young and naive and like to think how things would unfold for me had I not made the choice to do so but you know that every choice and mistake you made on the past was exactly what you wanted at that time and crying over spilled milk is not gonna help me or take anywhere.

So, since life is so unpredictable and you never know what is gonna happen next, why fret about things that you don’t know now!

Anyways, I’ve made a list of propaganda that social media and other platforms tell you is the best for you yet you know that we’re not the same, and those things might not work you.

1.Being happy all the time: As I’ve already mentioned that we are human beings and it’s not possible for us to remain happy and positive all the time. Sometimes, we feel overwhelmed by certain things that we don’t know what step we should take next. We find ourselves locked in with thoughts and emotions and sometimes with guilt and sadness and fear and what not. Feeling sad is absolutely fine, it makes you go deeper within you and embracing your emotions and acting crazy or crying your eyes out sometimes make you feel better. We’re all humans with diverse range of emotions with in. So, sadness and loneliness make you want to be happy again and you find yourself looking for things to make you feel alive again like scrolling through funny videos, recalling those good memories when you laughed until you cried, that warm cup of tea after a very exhausting day, talking to your friends about the things that bother you will make you feel better.

2. Following every trend: You know when you walk down the street and everyone is wearing the same clothes, doing the same hairstyle, hopping on to buy the same thing just because it’s trending, visiting the same place because it’s hot now and may be you think it’s cool and will make you a part of the ‘it’ community, is just sad.By doing this you’re killing the original you and your uniqueness. Remember, how different and cool and unique you are. Embrace your originality, find your unique style and stick to that. Trends come and go, but style never fades.

3.Idolising someone too much: I can’t understand the concept behind idolising people to the extent that you walk and talk like them.I do know that we have our own celebrity or influencer crushes but no man, I would never ever try to be a clone of them. I love myself too much to be them.My clumsy side, my funny side, the way I talk and think, my style, my voice, my face, all these things make me and that’s who I am, I wouldn’t want to kill the real me to embody someone else’s persona or style.

4. Being overly nice: I think I was a people pleaser once, keeping their wants and needs ahead of mine.I always tried to bring a smile on their face knowing that it wasn’t best for me. Lots of times I’ve forsaken my convenience and tried to keep theirs. This time, I’m only meeting people halfway, I don’t hesitate in saying ‘no’ and maintaining my peace and dignity. I’ve taken time in clearing away people and situation in my life that no longer serves me. I’ve decided to not let my brain think about what if’s and could have’s, it’s just straight up now, you respect me I respect you, you belittle me and take me for granted I’m gone.

5.Believing everything I see on social media: I’m a woman and I see quotes and reels on social media where women and girls are saying things like a man has to have certain thousand dollars and sports car to marry them cause they’re high maintenance or where people are promoting infidelity and vulgarism through reels and posting thirst traps for likes and comments are saddening. Buying makeup just because someone on the reel said it’s great and hauling items and clothes because someone said the fabric is great and looks super cool on them, is utterly ridiculous. You need to know that they’re getting it for free for promotion and what looks good on them may not look good or suit you.Be mindful of people and pages you follow, what you see and hear and think is what you become.

I hope you’ll have a wonderful July ahead !

May all be good!

Hello everyone!

Happy Sunday! I’m back again with prayers and intentions for the month of May 2025.

We’ve already covered the past 4 months with determination and courage and looking forward towards the rest of the months for this year.

May is I must say a laid back month for me.All the hassles of the previous months have been completed whether in work or personal life. Though, a little tension arose with in my country India with the neighbouring country Pakistan, eventually it got settled. Our world can’t handle another war with innocent lives at stake. With so many events happening around the world with Met Gala 2025 and a new Pope in the Vatican City. 2025 is all headed towards a great start.

Amidst this I have been working towards myself adopting things and habit which are beneficial for me and eliminating things and habits which will take me nowhere.

Here are a list of things that I’ve been practising for this month:

1.Enjoying my own company: I’ve been labelled as a social butterfly by people I know, always saying ‘yes’ to events and night outs without thinking twice.I’ve scattered my energy in the process of meeting ‘new’ people and going to new and happening ‘places’.Now, when I sit back and realise there are moments when I think about things I shouldn’t have done or places I shouldn’t have been to.I’ve started to enjoy my own company indulging on hobbies like writing, journaling, reading, etc which I really do enjoy. I haven’t completely left my fun side but I’m now mindful of my time and days when I really feel like going out and having fun.

2. Cleaning my personal and work space:Now, I frequently take the opportunity to declutter my working space and clean my personal space whenever I have time. I don’t hesitate donating clothes which no longer fit me or throwing away away clothes and bags which are no good to use.I clean my makeup bags every now and then and discard blenders or tubes of cream which are too old to be used.

3. No longer indulging on impulsive buying: Earlier, I used to buy clothes and cosmetics even when I didn’t need them. I used to scroll on various online sites and place orders when certain products used to be on sale, thinking I needed them, but now, I only buy things when I really need them and not when I want them.I’ve started segregating between my needs and wants and this has helped me to save my money which I was mindlessly spending on things which I didn’t really need.

4. Started reading again: I’ve started reading at least 5-10 pages of self help books at night before going to bed. This has helped me to increase my knowledge on so many things and has helped me to be positive and eliminate any limiting beliefs. I’ve started practising meditation, my mind is now no longer cluttered with unwanted thoughts all day, I try to be aware of anything that brings me down and trying to restore peace and positivity in my life.

5. Being Grateful for everything: I guess this I’ve been preaching for a long time. No matter where I am or what I’m doing I take a moment to thank the Universe or any higher power for everything. I practice the technique of Hoponopono everyday before closing my eyes and it has immensely helped me to overcome adversities.

In conclusion, I’m trying to be a better person everyday and things that used to bother me a year ago, no longer hurts me now. I’ve come to a realisation that Everything in life has a purpose and everything happens for a reason and instead of saying why me?I’ve started saying try me !

Some me time

When you replace why me with what is it teaching me, everything changes.

Suntique: I’m Gentle All in 1 essence for men

Hey everyone happy Sunday!

It’s getting a bit hotter these past few days and one can finally say that the chilly winter months are over. Now, it’s time to pack your winter clothes and finally stack up on cotton clothes for the summer.

As far as I love summer time, I equally have to gear up for my summer skin care routine as I have an oily skin and not to mention how hot summer season is in India.

Well there are plenty of skincare products in the market for women but I feel like there are handful of products for men to beat the summer heat and keep your zits and pores and also dark spots on check.

So, hello men today I am writing a review about a very hyped up Korean skincare cream for our fellow males.

This product is from Suntique a very renowned South Korean brand and trust me it’s all that you need for summer.

It has multiple benefits and just this all in one essence is gonna keep your summer oily and zit free.

The image of the product has been taken by me

Benefits:

1.It helps in controlling dullness and keeps dark spots under control.

2. It has Cica Complex which is good for anti aging and also niacinamide which helps in preventing wrinkles

3. It has moisturising and brightening ingredients which keeps your dryness under control.

4. It can also be used as an after shave cream and is very mild for the skin.

5. It is specially formulated for men with sensitive skin.

6.You can also use it as a sunscreen or a moisturiser and follow it up with your usual skincare cream as it doesn’t leave a white cast on the skin.

Use this cream after cleansing your face in the morning and apply adequately on your face and body and gently pat it dry.

This product is highly recommended if you don’t like inculcating several serums and creams in your skin care routine also since it has anti aging properties I feel like it is recommended for 25+ adult males.

This all in one essence for men comes with a humble price of INR- Rs 1,290/- for every 130 ml.

Keep calm and enjoy the sun ☀️

Pisces season

Hey everyone!

I’m back with another blog post today.

It’s already Pisces season here ♓️.3 months have already passed by with a blink of an eye.I’m flabbergasted as to see how quickly the months are passing by.

Here are some the intentions that I have been trying to follow this month.

1.Live for yourself: A little pampering can never hurt anyone. You deserve a break from your monotonous routine every now and then.Sometimes life can be overwhelming.A get together with your near and dear ones, a little bit of fun and spending quality times can give you a renewed sense of peace.

2. Not everything has to be rigid: Learn to flow with life. Embrace every moment .Live in the moment.Sometimes letting go and living a little is all that counts.Never say never.Gone days will never come back.

3. Splurge on yourself: Pamper yourself with things that you have longed for.Buy that perfume, wear that dress, go on trips, eat that food that you’re craving, go out and take pictures. Life is too short and you never know what’s gonna happen next so, do it now.

4. Embrace changes: Change is the only thing constant and it is quintessential. Make small changes in your life, take a different route to work, read a different genre of book, if you’re into pop switch to country songs,if you like tea switch to coffee, if you’re a night owl change into an early bird.I feel a little bit of change can change your perspective on various things

At last we all are human beings who are living our lives for the first time on this planet and we have different lives. What I’m going through, you might have never gone through and what you have been through, I might never be able to experience it.

So live a little and laugh a lot.

For my ladies!

Hello guys! I’m back again with a new blog post today! Things have been very challenging and hectic in the past few weeks for me but I’m trying to cope up with them one step at a time.

I hope you guys are doing well. Long winter days are finally over now and I’m loving the feeling of basking in the early March sunshine.

I have targeted my today’s blog post for all my beautiful women out there who are wearing their crowns no matter what life throws at them.

It’s okay to be in touch with your masculinity but when things get hard one should get in touch with your femininity to rediscover yourself.

Firstly, take care of yourself: Take time out for yourself , indulge on things that you love doing, take care of your skin, paint your nails, buy yourself flowers, read the book that you wanted to for a long time, go for a shopping spree, drink that coffee, take a nap, listen to your favourite music, watch that drama. Your mental and physical health matters.

Secondly, dress up for yourself: You have nobody to impress other than you. Everyday is a new beginning for you, indulge on timeless wardrobes. Look good for yourself, if you dress better your confidence will ooze out. Wear your favourite perfume, do your hair, wear your makeup and you’re all set to go.

Some me time

Thirdly, be yourself: Don’t hesitate to be your authentic self with people. People who genuinely care for you will accept you the way you are. Learn to trust the right people.Be kind and gentle to yourself and others. It’s okay to be vulnerable with people you feel comfortable with.

Lastly, Learn to let go: Life is a book with a new chapter ready for you unless you’re willing to flip the pages. Learn to flow with life. Don’t try to control things, don’t dwell in the past, remember you can never find someone like you.Always remember that better things are coming your way. Focus on yourself and your well being and be addicted to bettering yourself every day.

Suntique (I am aqua sun essence) SPF 50+PA++++ Review:

Hello everyone ! Happy New Year 2024!

I hope this year of Wood Dragon brings lot of happiness, prosperity and joy in your life! The starting of this January has been a new beginning of hope and light in my life. I am looking forward to many good things that are still coming my way and trying to leave behind the things that don’t serve my highest good. I hope that the remaining 360 days bring a lot of changes and growth in everybody’s life.

Today I’m going to write a review on a sunscreen that I’ve been using now.

This image of the product has been taken by me.

Firstly, we all know the importance of using sunscreen to ward off any harmful UV rays that can cause premature aging , fine lines, skin rashes etc . I have always used sunscreens with SPF 50+ as I have an oily and acne prone skin. After I switched to Suntique sun essence I found it to be really light and consistent on my face. It gives a radiant and dewy finish and is very light weight. I really like the fact that it doesn’t leave a white cast on my face and blends smoothly with the primer and foundation I use afterwards. It is cruelty free and dermatologically tested and is safe for sensitive to dry skin.It has the goodness of centella asiatica and aloe Vera which is very hydrating as well as soothing to the skin.

I grabbed mine from an online Korean beauty store called Beautytalk India which provides a wide range of K beauty and skincare products on affordable prices in India. It comes with a price of INR -1290/- for every 50 ml and INR -310/- for every 12 ml tube.

Simple Vitamins C+E+F booster serum ( review)

Hello everybody!! How’s it going? We are already in the Sagittarius month. This fiery adventurous season of December brings a lot of spontaneity and carefree attitude along with a dash of adventure.

Hmm..today I’m going to review a booster serum from Simple skincare. A lot of buzz was going on through the Internet regarding some very good products from Simple skincare and well I thought about switching my daily dose of Vitamin C serum to this one.

This image has been taken by me

First of all this booster serum contains the benefits of Vitamin C+E+F. Now, we all know how vitamin C gives that dewy and glowy look to your face along with reducing blemishes and dark spots. The concept of adding Vitamin E+F to my serum was new but seems like you get the benefits of hydration, anti bacterial properties, sebum control along with anti aging properties all at once.

After cleansing your face in the morning or at night , just take few drops of this serum and apply it evenly over your face and neck. It gives an instant glow to your face and you can see visible results after few uses.

The best thing about this booster serum is it’s very affordable and comes up with a price of INR 685/-. You can get it on discounts on various online beauty platforms.

TONYMOLY Wonder Tea Tree Pore Fresh Toner : Review

Hello everyone!! June is about to end and I still can’t process the fact that we have already made it through the past five months…I hope everyone is doing well if not then everything that’s weighing you down shall pass..

Today I am going to review a toner from TONYMOLY!!! Yes, your favourite Korean skincare brand.

Well,to start off with this green tea pore fresh toner by TONYMOLY is perfect for oily skinned beauties.

It works well on enlarged and clogged pores and makes your skin hydrated from the first use itself.Don’t worry it has very calming and soothing effect on your skin and I really like the mild grassy fragrance just like the fresh morning dews on leaves in the morning.

I have been a fan of skincare with Green tea extracts and this toner is just perfect.I have milia under my eyes and after vigorously using this toner I have seen it fading away and it’s working like magic on pimple marks too. Since, clogged pores can trigger white heads and black heads , believe me this toner is so good that it thoroughly cleans your face leaving no dirt on the skin hence, leaving a little to no chance of your pores getting clogged , so, no more black heads and white heads for you.

This image has been taken by me

You can take a cotton pad or directly massage it on your skin after cleansing your face and follow it with moisturiser after.

I have found this toner to absorb quickly on the skin and visibly improves your skin texture. I also really like the fact that it lasts for about a year and is quite budget friendly as it comes for INR- 1250/- for 500 ml.
