Hello everyone!
Happy Sunday! I’m back again with prayers and intentions for the month of May 2025.
We’ve already covered the past 4 months with determination and courage and looking forward towards the rest of the months for this year.
May is I must say a laid back month for me.All the hassles of the previous months have been completed whether in work or personal life. Though, a little tension arose with in my country India with the neighbouring country Pakistan, eventually it got settled. Our world can’t handle another war with innocent lives at stake. With so many events happening around the world with Met Gala 2025 and a new Pope in the Vatican City. 2025 is all headed towards a great start.
Amidst this I have been working towards myself adopting things and habit which are beneficial for me and eliminating things and habits which will take me nowhere.
Here are a list of things that I’ve been practising for this month:
1.Enjoying my own company: I’ve been labelled as a social butterfly by people I know, always saying ‘yes’ to events and night outs without thinking twice.I’ve scattered my energy in the process of meeting ‘new’ people and going to new and happening ‘places’.Now, when I sit back and realise there are moments when I think about things I shouldn’t have done or places I shouldn’t have been to.I’ve started to enjoy my own company indulging on hobbies like writing, journaling, reading, etc which I really do enjoy. I haven’t completely left my fun side but I’m now mindful of my time and days when I really feel like going out and having fun.
2. Cleaning my personal and work space:Now, I frequently take the opportunity to declutter my working space and clean my personal space whenever I have time. I don’t hesitate donating clothes which no longer fit me or throwing away away clothes and bags which are no good to use.I clean my makeup bags every now and then and discard blenders or tubes of cream which are too old to be used.
3. No longer indulging on impulsive buying: Earlier, I used to buy clothes and cosmetics even when I didn’t need them. I used to scroll on various online sites and place orders when certain products used to be on sale, thinking I needed them, but now, I only buy things when I really need them and not when I want them.I’ve started segregating between my needs and wants and this has helped me to save my money which I was mindlessly spending on things which I didn’t really need.
4. Started reading again: I’ve started reading at least 5-10 pages of self help books at night before going to bed. This has helped me to increase my knowledge on so many things and has helped me to be positive and eliminate any limiting beliefs. I’ve started practising meditation, my mind is now no longer cluttered with unwanted thoughts all day, I try to be aware of anything that brings me down and trying to restore peace and positivity in my life.
5. Being Grateful for everything: I guess this I’ve been preaching for a long time. No matter where I am or what I’m doing I take a moment to thank the Universe or any higher power for everything. I practice the technique of Hoponopono everyday before closing my eyes and it has immensely helped me to overcome adversities.
In conclusion, I’m trying to be a better person everyday and things that used to bother me a year ago, no longer hurts me now. I’ve come to a realisation that Everything in life has a purpose and everything happens for a reason and instead of saying why me?I’ve started saying try me !

“When you replace why me with what is it teaching me, everything changes.
With love
